What is a Senior Research Project?

At BASIS Tucson, seniors have the chance to propose an independent research project that takes place off campus during the last trimester of the year. The seniors whose proposals are accepted write their own syllabi and then head off into the world, to a site where they conduct their research while interning with a professional in the field. Those of us stuck on campus follow their adventures on this blog. Now that the projects are over, we are all excited to attend their presentations. The schedule is as follows:

Wednesday, May 11, 6-8 PM

Saturday, May 14, 10-12 AM

Just More

Just a short little blurb today. I'm sure I could eke out some longer thing to say from my past time, but I shan't. Basically, I'm still moving/organizing queen. I'm trying to see the bright side. I have access to pretty much EVERYTHING Kore has, so now I know what a Press (at least a small one) needs to run. And I feel now like I know a lot more than I did when I began, of course, but nothing very exciting. I know about invoices and production and ordering supplies and sending books and fulfilling orders and editors and royalties and a bit about marketing. I've started to think about the Powerpoint.... yikes. Well, at least it is in my head, right?
We are in a new, larger,, more professional space in the fringes downtown.
